Product we work with is an IT solutions provider specialized in travel distribution technology. It was established to introduce new innovative solutions supporting travel agency and airline initiatives in modernizing their distribution models. Product soon became an IATA Strategic Partner to help transform the current airline distribution landscape. It operates its software development and R&D centers in Ireland, Greece and the USA bringing together a team of innovators and visionaries whose goal is to constantly challenge the status quo in order to enable the leaders of this new era in airline distribution to deliver their ideas and strategies to the market place.

Responsibilities:

• back-end and front-end development to meet customer’s business needs and implement components according to the modern software development environment
• take part in developing and reviewing feature design documents and providing inputs/update to specifications for the solution
• manage integration processes within different IT systems
• maintain a culture of code quality through rigorous testing, automation, and code reviews
• be proactive and innovative — we rely on your feedback to build a world-class product

Requirements:

• 2+ years of total experience in Java
• strong knowledge of Spring (Boot, MVC, Security, Data JPA). We work with Spring Boot
• hand on experience with JS, Angular
• experience in working with Azure Services will be a plus
• be familiar with Web Services (REST, JSON, SOAP)
• strong knowledge of Apache-Cassandra and/or Cosmos DB will be a plus, MySQL
• understanding of software product lifecycle
• at least Intermediate spoken and written English level
