Our Project — an innovative educational platform designed for effective organization of the educational process with more than 100,000 active users.
It is built on an integrated approach to meet the needs of students, parents, teachers, and educational administrators and supports 4 languages.

Our ambition goal is to change education for the better, and that’s why we are looking for a talented and proactive PHP Developer to help us reach this goal.

Qualification and skills:
— 2+ years of commercial development experience using PHP 7/8
— 2+ years of practical experience working with MySQL/PostgreSQL (the ability to build queries of varying complexity is a must)
— Working with famous PHP frameworks and knowing their weaknesses and strong side
— Knowledge of design patterns, with practical experience in implementing them
— Strong debugging skills
— Hands-on experience with unit testing
— English: intermediate + (spoken and written)

Would be a plus:
— Experience with ReactJS
— Working knowledge of the SQL Server
— Experience with agile project methodologies (and their impact on iterative design)
— Experience working in a continuous integration environment

Your scope of responsibilities:
— Developing and maintaining PHP web applications and APIs
— Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver new features
— Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
— Build queries of varying complexity using MySQL/PostgreSQL
— Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in existing applications
— Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
