The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Sitecore Engineer to join our team at Valtech. This is a client-facing technical leadership role, where you will drive the delivery of Sitecore-based solutions, lead development teams, and ensure the successful execution of complex digital programmes. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with excellent communication and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate’s skills include:

  • Strong experience with Sitecore / C# / .NET 8.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure services including Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Databases.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, TypeScript, and js.
  • Proven experience in leading development teams and delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable in a client-facing role, and adept at managing priorities and risks.
  • Upper-Intermediate English level
  • Accountability, strong collaboration, and time-management skills in cross-functional teams
  • Strong desire to learn more about business every day

Optional:

  • Experience with Kubernetes / AKS, Solr Cloud.
  • Frontend skills (CSS, Vue3) and full-stack development experience.
  • Knowledge of js or React frameworks.

The Role

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the technical delivery of Sitecore projects, ensuring high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand priorities, provide technical guidance, and manage risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of developers, providing guidance on best practices and technical standards.
  • Estimate work, plan roadmaps, and manage release cycles effectively.
  • Define development processes, architecture guidelines, and ways of working.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for projects and solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for client solutions.

    2. HR Interview — up to 1-hour interview with a Talent Acquisition Consultant.
    3. Technical Interview — up to 1-hour technical discussion with our experts.
    4. Final Interview — up to 1-hour soft skills meeting with the Delivery Manager and People Partner.
    5. Collecting references — we will ask you to provide some references you already got from previous projects or 2/3 e-mail addresses to people of your choice that will be able to respond to our short survey.
