We are looking for a L2 Technical Support Engineer to join our growing global team. You will work with our numerous international projects. It’s an excellent opportunity to improve knowledge of the different technologies and approaches that belong to modern-day MACH architectures (Microservices API-First, Containers, and Headless).
— Computer science related degree or equivalent work experience;
— Experience in technical application support on server-side systems (ERP, Commerce, CMS, transactional systems, etc), understanding of how to analyze and debug technical application problems;
— Good problem-solving skills;
— Fast and self-learning skills;
— Upper-Intermediate English level;
— Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies;
— Knowledge of and experience with the ITIL framework;
— Familiarity with ITSM systems (Valtech uses Jira Servicedesk);
— Basic programming skills, able to read and diagnose program code;
— Strong deductive logic skills;
— Experience to use monitoring systems, such as Dynatrace, Grafana / Prometheus, Zabbix, New Relic, Datadog, AWS Cloudwatch, and Azure Monitoring for diagnostics;
— Conceptual understanding of distributed architectures with multiple layers.
— Incident and technical request tickets resolution and update in Jira/SNOW/other tools via SLA;
— Provide proper investigation of ticket;
— Problem/bug identification and diagnosis;
— Create and update technical support documentation;
— Create Knowledge Base articles;
— Escalate issues appropriately;
— Investigate and fix bugs based according to priorities.

As a consultant and as a binding part between developers and our clients you are expected to develop expertise both in technology and the means to communicate complex concepts and rationale to non-techies.
