Head of Delivery gives strategic guidance and direction to the delivery management team in achieving the Company’s financial targets, short- and long-term goals; ensures the deliverables are delivered effectively and efficiently with a proper quality to agreed timescales; ensures all risks identified and mitigated.
You will have a proven ability to successfully deliver the largest projects/programs, you have strong consulting skills and you build strong relationships with both clients and all parts of the business to define viable approaches/methodologies in line with relevant industry standards and best practices. You will represent the delivery team within the business and ensure their views are made clear to the executive management team. You will ensure the individuals within delivery management are aligned and function as a team. You will also help shape the country’s growth strategy and help align it with regional and global objectives. You will lead needed Delivery and/or company change and transformation initiatives from ideation to completion to help drive the company’s long-term growth and success ambitions.

— bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field;
— you have 10+ years of experience in management and leadership roles with increasing complexity and responsibilities;
— experience within delivery management (large scale projects, program and/or portfolio management) in a large delivery organization;
— proven people leadership experience that translates into impactful business results;
— experience in building and managing Delivery across different geographic locations;
— strong background in Software Delivery Management and Solution Architecture;
— excellent business communication, time management skills, and top-class presentation skills;
— experience in business development, client relationship management, pre-sales support, strong negotiation skills;
— ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team;
— strong in relationship building, managed relationships at a senior level within large organizations;
— proven organizational skills combined with very strong facilitation skills;
— self-starter and self-learner, with an ability to motivate and lead others;
— experience with managing nearshore/offshore teams and external 3rd parties across multiple geographies.

— full cycle Delivery capacity management;
— support presales efforts from the Delivery side;
— drive continuous improvement mindset and initiatives across the Delivery organization locally and globally;
— supervising and guiding Delivery Managers in their duties and support their professional development efforts;
— assessing, managing, and resolving problematic developments and situations with teams, partners and clients;
— monitoring and controlling effective utilization of teams.
