• 3+ year of Java development experience

• Practical experience with JS, CSS, HTML, CSS, Jquery would be a big plus
• Practical experience with Docker would be a big plus

Currently we are looking for a professional Java Developer with proven technical experience. The position is dedicated to handling backstage related work, supplied by UDEX (user data and video) team.
Working responsibilities may involve both, frontend and backend activities, but primarily focus is on the backend part (Java 8, Spring, Boot, custom ORM solution, MySQL, Vertica, Velocity templates, Handlebar templates).
Day-to-day communication with corresponding mentors from the onsite team for tracking progress and efficiency.

Main responsibilities:
— work side-to-side with Tel-Aviv Taboola team;
— new features development;
— implementation plan development under the supervision of Taboola’s internal/external mentors;
— requirements clarification with onsite product’s team;
— features implementation;
— code review with internal/external team;
— CI/CD activities;
— contribute to R&D group growth and knowledge sharing (internal StackOverflow space, confluence documentation, dedicated slack channels); there are reward programs for such activities (T-Shirts, leisure);
— ability to showcase in yearly hackathon;
— onsite visits to Israel.
