Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a seasoned, highly technical, and experienced senior cloud engineer to join our Enterprise Cloud team as part of our multi-year cloud transformation program.

Specifically, you will be part of the Azure Platform SRE team, the subject matter experts for the Azure cloud, responsible for building and supporting a best-in-class Azure cloud platform. The team focuses on providing an excellent user experience for development and business teams using Azure services. Over the next three years, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our cloud adoption and migration program.

Location: Ukraine, Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer a best-in-class Azure Cloud platform, focusing on PaaS solutions.
• Design and integrate cloud solutions and services with scalability, fault tolerance, security, and simplicity in mind.
• Run proof of concepts for new cloud services or third-party tools.
• Collaborate with InfoSec to enhance the Azure security posture.
• Develop solutions for challenges involving distributed systems, scalability, and security, and translate them into implementation.
• Refine the cloud strategy, adoption plan, and migration plan.
• Work closely with development teams to support their cloud journey, assess new service requirements, and implement them globally.
• Continuously improve the platform by automating processes to enhance reliability, operability, and developer experience.
• Solve new technical challenges weekly with cutting-edge technology.
• Ensure services are fully deployable using Infrastructure-as-Code and integrated with the CI/CD toolchain.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Strong experience with Azure PaaS services, including:
  Kubernetes (AKS), Cosmos, ASE, Cognitive Services, Data Factory, Event Grid, Log Analytics, SQL, Blob/Table/Queue Storage, Sentinel, and Security Centre.
• Experience with cloud transformation and change programs across large technology organizations.
• Expertise across the infrastructure stack, including virtualization, Windows, Linux, storage, databases, and networking.
• Proficiency in modern DevOps tooling (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure ARM, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of PaaS, Infrastructure-as-Code, Compliance-as-Code, and when/how to use them.
• Experience with modern agile engineering practices and shift-left CI/CD approaches.
• Passion for highly automated, API-driven service delivery.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with at least one language (e.g., Python, .NET, PowerShell, Node.js, Ruby, Java).
• Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across technology domains.
• Knowledge of the broader cloud ecosystem, including cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a self-managing attitude.
• At least Intermediate+ English level.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Azure Cloud Certifications (Associate, Expert, or Specialty level).
• Understanding of AWS and other cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AliCloud).
• Experience with Power BI and the Azure Power Platform.
