As a SAP BTP Sr. Software Engineer, you will work with technical and business-oriented teams, to work collaboratively with employees within departments, across functions, and external clients.

Responsibilities:

• Development and deployment processes on both the Neo and Cloud Foundry environments using HANA Cloud DB services and other data sources
• Create comprehensive technical specifications or configuration documents
• Translate solution design into efficient software code or enhanced configuration.
• Conduct code reviews and adjustments when needed.
• Communicate with internal groups as well as customers.
• Collaboratively work in virtual teams as well as in person.
• Project requirements definition, application design (front-end and backend) to configuration.
• Unit testing, assistance, and follow-up with user testing.
• Post-live support and fixes.
• Reach and realize project aims and outputs.
• Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions.

Requirements:

• Good written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
• 6-8 years of experience in SCP/BTP development
• 2+ years of experience in Fiori development
• Experience in development using SAP Cloud Foundry
• Mobile Services development
• Project-based experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (formerly SAP Cloud Platform), Development, and Administration.
• Experience in development across technologies like SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, Python, JAVA, and JavaScript.
• Experience in HANA development (data services, CDS, etc.).
• Experience with ABAP Programming Model for Fiori.

Nice to have:

• Low-code/no-code experience (e.g., Mendix, Appian, Betty Blocks, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in using tools Git, Web IDE, and Eclipse to develop Fiori applications
• Experience in SAP independent architecture concepts like MVC, Microservices, and web services
• Knowledge in Node.js and React JS (or similar) will be an advantage
