Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting multiple products and development teams in automating infrastructure, building pipelines, deployment, and production Sandbox support.
• Maintaining mission-critical day-to-day operations of the production processing platform and internal company resources.
• Excellent Leadership, Technical, Communication, Analytical, and Problem-Solving skills and ability to get on well with people including cross-cultural backgrounds.
• Analysing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices
• Automating processes with the right tools
• Facilitating development process and operations
• Establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the organization
• Setting up a continuous build environment to speed up the software development and deployment process
• Architecting overall, comprehensive, and efficient practices
• Guiding developers and operation teams in case of an issue
• Monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations
• Flexibility regarding working hours
• Adhere to Non-Disclosure Agreements, Customer IPs, or other legal provisions.

Important Pointers:

• Designing and implementing high-performance, scalable, multi-cloud, and multi-region infrastructure.
• Architect and implement HA/DR/Backup/Maintenance strategies.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing DevSecOps tools.
• Strong experience in designing Kubernetes infrastructure and best practices.
• Having good experience in provisioning infrastructure using IAAC tools i.e. Terraform. Have a good understanding of GitOps(ArgoCD) implementation.
• Strong experience in setting up bare-metal VMware ESXi servers.
• Good to have experience with IBM Cloud.
• Implementing CI/CD and security best practices for DevOps.

Key skills (must have):

• Minimum 8 years of industry experience
• Strong knowledge and expertise in DevOps solution delivery and strategy
• Exposure/expertise on Harness.io will be a huge plus
• Have a clear understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps tools, structure, processes, and mindsets
• Experience in Application code deployment to Dev, Staging, and Production Sandbox environments
• Experience in Migration from Docker to Kubernetes on Active — Active DR experience
• Deployment of Kubernetes cluster across three clouds within the same cluster (Multi-cloud support for Kubernetes across AWS, Azure, GCP or any other clouds)
• Infrastructure provisioning through Terraform (multi-cloud terraform provision experience)
• Extensive UNIX & Windows system administration experience
• Expert-level experience in Kubernetes
• Scripting experience in one of the scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, and / or Ruby scripting
• Experience with configuration and automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef
• Hands-on experience on AWS or Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of Active Directory and DNS servers
• Nice to have experience on ELK Stack (Elastic search, Log stash, and Kibana)
• Experience in Continuous build and integration environments
• Good understanding of revision control tools, such as GitHub, JIRA
• Ensure security and rapidity across the organization

Secondary Skills:

• Knowledge of software development tools, operating systems, virtual and physical infrastructure, network topologies, and security models
• Experience in Private Cloud (Hyper-V, VMware, or OpenStack)
• Some relational database administration and SQL knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player
• Experience with Agile, continuous integration, and dealing with ambiguity
• Strong experience in leading a team technically & contribute to strategic-level discussions.
• History of learning and adapting quickly
• Experience working in Product Development Environment
