About the role:

This role focuses on end-to-end testing of mobile and web applications, including API testing and backend data verification in AWS. The engineer will create and execute test cases, work with SQL databases, manage testing activities in Jira, report and validate defects, and collaborate closely with developers and product owners during sprints and releases.

Key Responsibilities .

• Perform manual testing of mobile (iOS, Android) and web applications
• Conduct API testing using Postman
• Verify backend data stored in AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
• Execute database testing using PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Prepare, execute, and maintain test cases
• Report defects in Jira and verify implemented fixes
• Manage test cases in Jira, link them with user stories, and provide testing reports
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and the QA team
• Participate in sprint planning and support release verification

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing
• Practical knowledge of Jira and test management plugins (e.g. Xray, RTM, Zephyr)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman or similar)
• Basic SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience with the AWS environment is nice to have.
• Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
