Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Python
• Strong expertise in FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Postgres
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, ECS, S3, etc.)
• Understanding of authentication, data modeling, and performance optimization
• Experience working in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams
• Ability to have 4 hours overlap with EST time (work 7-8 pm Ukrainian time)

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Python
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, RDS, ECS, S3)
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and best practices
