— At least half a year of experience;
— Strong understanding of Node.js;
— Ability to write high quality code following TDD practices;
— Knowledge of OOP, Design patterns, Rest API design;
— Databases concepts understanding, hands-on experience with Relational/NoSQL databases;
— Strong understanding of common Git workflows;
— English (at least Intermediate).
— Code review experience;
— CI and build experience (Jenkins);
— Experience with Docker/Kubernetes;
— Experience with AWS services.
— Salary: depends on the qualification, can be reviewed according to our salary review policies;
— Office: Zhylianska Street, 59, Kyiv;
— Flexible schedule: 8 hours per day depending on your biorhythms;
— Registering as a private entrepreneur („ФОП”, managed by our accountant);
— Must-haves: paid vacation (29 working days per year: 11 national holidays + 18 actual vacation) and sick leaves (10 working days per year);
— Benefits: individual ($200 per person to spend on traveling, insurance, gym, driving school etc); educational ($150 per person to spend on learning); optional (English classes, sports activities, charity events);
— Smooth adaptation period: 2 months.
— Delivering high quality code;
— Following best engineering practices (Clean Code, CI/CD, test coverage) and UPTech Best Practices (set of advices on development processes, communication);
— Participating in code reviews;
— Communicating with customers (if needed).
