— Master’s or Doctorate in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Applied Statistics, Natural Language Processing, or Computer Vision
— 3+ years of experience in computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing, or other artificial intelligence technologies
— Experience in the oil & gas exploration & production company or oil field services company
— Python, Docker, Git, Anaconda, and Jupyter
— Machine learning, data mining, deep learning, computer vision, or natural language processing
— Full-stack AI pipeline (build API, Flask...)
— Strong analytical and mathematical skills (e.g.: statistics, algebra)
— The ability to build machine learning models and to find impactful and actionable recommendations based on the model

— Degree from a European or US university

— Working directly with our client and relocation to Abu Dhabi

— Assist in the design and development of next-generation AI-enabled software products for oil & gas clients
— Contribute to the solution design, usually in collaboration with other data scientists and engineers
— Extract, clean, audit and prepare data for analysis, relying on well-structured procedures and maintaining reproducibility of results
— Assist in experiments to answer targeted questions and conduct exploratory data analysis
— Analyze and judge the quality of data produced and proactively develop and implement solutions to data quality issues
— Help prepare and visualize interim and final results of analyses
— Implement and test algorithms and techniques relevant to achieving project objectives
— Maintain and develop, as needed, databases relevant to analytic solutions being developed
— Translate business objectives into actionable analyses and insights
— Combine models using ensemble methods
— Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms
