We are currently looking for a Markup Developer to join our Ukrainian Branch. Our teammate will be responsible for creating high-quality, responsive, and accessible web pages using HTML, CSS, and related technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing pixel-perfect layouts based on design specifications and ensuring they work seamlessly across various browsers and devices.

You will be working closely with designers, developers, and QA engineers on different aspects of the front-end experience.
Therefore, a commitment to clean, semantic code, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of modern layout techniques is essential.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS
• Experience with Bootstrap
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Understanding of CSS Flexbox layout principles
• Basic JavaScript skills
• Understanding of the Component-Based Markup concept, BEM
• Understanding of SEO-friendly markup
• W3C standards (markup semantics, accessibility, crossbowmen’s)
• SCSS/LESS
• Mobile First markup
• Experience using AI tools
• Intermediate or higher level of spoken English.

Good to have:

• Understanding of Email template building (table layout)
• Any modern FE framework knowledge (React, Vue.js)
• Angular experience — a strong plus
• Any CMS integration experience
• Experience working with the Claude CLI
• Git

Responsibilities:

• Creating and structuring the content of web pages using HTML and CSS
• Working with CSS Pre-Processors: Sass/Less
• Working with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap)
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, and Photoshop
• Understanding of UI/UX design and cross-browser layout
• Develop the efficient and adaptive layout of interfaces
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimized website performance for various devices and browsers
• Develop HTML email templates
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards
• Working with Umbraco ASP.NET CMS
• Collaborating with developers/QA
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Developing new projects and supporting existing ones
• Experience with semantic HTML and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Understanding of SEO-friendly markup principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines
• Working with Git for version control and collaborative development
