— Candidate should have bachelor’s degree
— 2+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
— Work with code deployment tools
— Experience using VMcloud foundations (VCF) interface to manage software defined datacenters, VxRail nodes and connectivity to cloud infrastructure.
— Exhibit expertise in software development methodologies.
— Working knowledge of Ruby or Python and known DevOps tools like Git and GitHub.
— Avamar and DataDomain technology and replicating backup to S3 cloud
— Working knowledge of databases and Microsoft SQL.
— Work independently and as part of a team.

DevOps Engineer is a combination of developer and system admin who bridge the gap between developers and the IT team.
— DevOps engineer will aid in development software and software fixes in our RHEL environment. Ensure code quality, test and distribute code updates, and monitor the health and stability of the servers.
— Continually monitors the systems health and security as code is being deployed.
— Responsibilities include analyzing production errors to define and create tools that help mitigate problems in the system design stage and improving the user experience.
— Identifies changes that are necessary to maintain optimal system performance.
— Assist in implement automation tools.
— Collaborate and coordinate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
