Python Engineer (AI Projects) — Remote (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Python Engineer to join Helpware’s internal AI team and help build innovative AI-powered products, automation solutions, and scalable backend systems. You will work on proprietary platforms, LLM integrations, and modern full-stack applications, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and AI teams.

The ideal candidate has strong Python expertise, experience building high-performance backend services, and a passion for applying AI technologies to solve real business challenges. You will contribute to the development of reliable systems, AI-driven workflows, and tools that improve operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Design and implement scalable APIs, asynchronous workflows, and background processing systems
• Build AI-powered applications and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), including Google Gemini
• Develop and optimize database-driven applications using PostgreSQL, SQLite, and SQLAlchemy 2.0
• Manage database migrations and schema evolution using Alembic
• Implement task processing and distributed workflows using Celery and Redis
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on full-stack features using TypeScript and React
• Work with modern AI development tools, including Claude Code and GSD framework
• Deploy and maintain applications using Docker, Docker Compose, and AWS services (S3, SES, EC2)
• Design and integrate REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party services
• Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and internal AI product development

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Python (3+ years)
• Experience building production applications with FastAPI
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming with asyncio
• Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Celery, Redis, and background task processing
• Experience integrating LLM APIs, especially Google Gemini
• Strong TypeScript and React experience
• Experience with Docker, Git/GitHub, and modern development workflows
• Good understanding of REST APIs and webhooks
• English level: B2+
