Java Developer / Software Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

Unicorn Systems is a renowned European company providing the largest information systems and solutions in the area of information and communication technologies. We have been focused on high added value and competitive advantage for our customers.We are looking for a member of an in-house development team.
The project is related to the banking sector.

Stack:
Java 8, Spring, Oracle DB, Hazelcast, Redis, Kafka, Web services (WSDL, SOAP), REST, XML/ XSD, JMS, JavaScript.

Project management methodology: Agile.

Requirements:
— 4+ years of experience in software engineering with Java and adjacent open source technologies;
— Proficiency in Java 8;
— Ability to understand and develop low-latency, high-performance, scalable backend applications;
— Knowledge of and experience in object-oriented analysis, design and implementation with focus on neat and maintainable code;
— Experience of using Spring (Core, MVC), Kafka;
— Experience with SQL, PL/SQL;
— Proactive approach in problem solving, analytical thinking and focus on the quality of deliverables;
— English upper-intermediate or higher.

Would be a plus:
— Knowledge of finance area (consumer finance);
— University degree in IT preferable;
— Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities:
— Development, implementation and maintenance of the solution;
— Participate in Proof Of Concept phases of the project;
— Solution support (bug fixing, knowledge transfer, etc.).
