Middle DevOps Engineer (AWS) (вакансія неактивна)

UKEESS Software House is looking for a talented Middle DevOps Engineer to join our team for a full-time position (remote in Ukraine or either in Lviv).

About Customer’s Project:

This is the world’s largest DNA network from the USA which helps people discover their family stories and gain actionable insights about their health. With more than 27+ billion digitized global historical records, 100 million family trees, and 18+ million people in their growing database, using this resource and DNA analysis, you can determine your ethnicity, susceptibility to a variety of genetically transmitted diseases, find relatives in all over the world, and more.

Responsibilities will be the following:

• Develop, debug, and troubleshoot customer’s container services
• Work closely with development teams
• Contribute proactively to the next phase of the containerization strategy
• Move quickly to solve challenges with little direction

As a member of the team, you will be highly involved in designing, developing, debugging, and troubleshooting customer’s container services, working closely with the development team, and contributing proactively to the next phase of the customer’s containerization strategy.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and the ideal candidate should have the initiative to investigate and drive issues to completion. Must be flexible and work well with others, even when perspectives differ. While the work is mentally challenging, you will be part of a team of strong, collaborative developers working in a flexible environment.

Requirements:

• Experience with developing infrastructure tools using industry standards and processes
• Strong understanding and experience managing cloud-native applications
• Experience in AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, NewRelic, and Grafana
• Experience in troubleshooting issues within AWS infrastructure
• Experience in deployment, databases, and — Infrastructure-As-Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience or strong knowledge of the programming languages: Bash, Python
• English: upper-intermediate level (both speaking and writing).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Fargate and Docker
• Experience with GitOps
