We are looking for a Guidance & Control Engineer to design and implement advanced algorithms for UAV autonomy. In this role, you will work at the intersection of control theory, navigation, and real-world testing — turning mathematical models into reliable flight behavior.
Responsibilities
- Develop guidance, control, and stabilization algorithms for UAVs.
- Research and implement control algorithms that adapt to changing environments and system dynamics.
- Apply filtering methods (Kalman and others) and integrate control logic in ROS2 / C++.
- Integrate algorithms with autopilot systems (PX4 / ArduPilot).
- Plan and run field experiments, analyze logs, and debug UAV behavior.
- Collaborate closely with embedded, testing, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience in C++14/17/20 and Python for multi-module projects.
- Solid background in Linux development (terminal, logs, networking).
- Practical experience with ROS2.
- Deep knowledge of guidance algorithms, Kalman filters, control theory, and dynamic system modeling.
- Hands-on experience developing guidance or control systems for real objects.
- Research-driven approach: from system-wide analysis to field validation.
Nice to have
- Experience with PX4 or ArduPilot.
- HIL / SIL testing and simulators (Gazebo, AirSim).
