What you will do
— Drive analysis, design, and development of automation tools for deployment, development, and operational tasks
~ Drive the design and implementation of a highly-available cloud-based infrastructure in AWS
~ Provide centralized monitoring, logging, reporting and alerting tooling for development teams (opensource, third party, cloud native)
~ Build and optimize our CI/CD systems
~ Participate in collaborative troubleshooting processes and find practical solutions that move projects forward in a timely manner
~ Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice
What You’ll Need to Succeed
~ Experience in building, supporting, and architecting a highly-available cloud infrastructure
~ Experience in working with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (Prometheus&Grafana, CloudWatch, third-party tools)
~ Experience in provisioning and configuration tools (Terraform, Ansible)
~ Experience in deploying and running microservices with Kubernetes/Docker
~ Experience with MongoDB/AWS DocumentDB databases
~ Fluent with AWS Services, especially EC2, Route53, S3, DocumentDb and CloudFront
~ Good understanding of CI/CD tools
~ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
~ Good written and spoken English
As a plus:
~ Experience with NodeJS applications (both frontend and backend)
