The Role:

Due to rapid growth and future expansion of our Company globally, an exciting prospect arises for an experienced legal counsel to join our legal team.

This role requires you to participate in a broad range of legal matters, including group corporate structuring, tax planning, commercial contracting, IP, dealing with compliance and other issues related to the roll-out of our services in new territories.

Your responsibilities:

• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and participating in negotiations with vendors and clients;
• Conducting research and providing legal opinions on various legal matters, consulting different departments of the company on arising legal issues in different jurisdictions;
• Developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive information security and data protection program;
• Taking care of periodic internal and external information security and data privacy audits;
• Managing legal risks that may arise as a result of the company’s commercial activities;
• Providing legal support on IP related matters, including copyright and trademarks;
• Contributing to corporate structuring and tax planning matters;

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Law;
• 4+ years of experience working with IT companies. Knowledge of IT outsourcing industry will be an advantage;
• Experience working with different jurisdictions, including US, EU, LATAM;
• Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills are essential.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and Ukrainian;
• Experience working with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC2 will be an advantage;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills;
• Professional data privacy or compliance certifications will be an advantage.
