Middle/Senior Backend Developer

Backend Developer

We are looking for a talented backend developer to join the Trementum team. We are starting a new project aimed at assessing social media platforms’ ability to take down malicious content. To do it, we will need to develop a monitoring system (monitoring API provided) for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and Telegram.

What you’ll be doing:

• development of the backend for the analytics system, including business logic, DB, API
• working with a team of analysts and data scientists to produce data-driven research
• orchestrating scripts and API connections
• setting up and maintaining server infrastructure
• database management

Essential qualifications:

• At least two years of experience with NodeJS
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with MongoDB or other non-relational DBs
• Fundamental knowledge of math/statistics
• Experience with AWS (s3, lambda, Athena) or other equivalent infrastructure
• Experience with Big Data stack

Good to have:

• Experience with Python (scientific libraries, Flask)
• Experience building social media analytics tools
• Other databases experience
• Elasticsearch (ELK)
• Jenkins
