1+ year of commercial experience
Knowledge of Core Java; along with database programming (JDBC/ODBC)
Understanding using the Java JVM and with applications running on Tomcat
Good knowledge of Web Services, XML, SOAP, REST, Linux, and Unix Shell scripting
Familiarity with database integrations: Servlet API, JDBC configuration, SQL, Postgres Databases, POST/Gis extension

Excellent analytical, negotiation, decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with security concepts and best OOD practices
