About the role

The role of Junior Hardware Engineer (Electronics) is to conduct research, analysis and development of the hardware and embedded software for different sensors solutions and service subsystems of banknote and coin authentication and recycling systems.

About the team

Kiev R&D team consists of several specialists that cover different disciplines including but not limited to general physics, optics, electronics, maths and programming. Team is focused on moving forward CPI sensor technology and recognition techniques dedicated to improve our products capabilities to be aligned with the cutting edge requirements for detection of machine readable features. Team is equipped with the nowadays instruments, measurement equipment and utilizes the latest computing technologies that makes it possible to build the sensor systems from scratch. We are looking for the candidate with

• Education at least 2 year university in EE/CS or equivalent, with relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of physics, analogue and digital electronics.
• Basic knowledge of C and experience to work in embedded programming environment.
• Basic knowledge of Matlab is appreciated.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Our candidate will be responsible for

• Development, evaluation and testing of various schematic designs, schematic diagrams and embedded source code to comply with internal company guidelines for component use/reuse, coding styles and practices etc.
• Troubleshoot and analysis of various electronic firmware and hardware problems.
• Continuous improvement of knowledge and skills needed in company practical activity.
• Comply with of company policy and follow mentor’s guidance.
