The main users of the protocol will be hedge funds, financial institutions, and professional traders who trade and stake positions on-chain. Arkis allows users to leverage their trading positions across multiple protocols and across chains within a ‘sandboxed’ margin account. Arkis brings DeFi the most sophisticated automated real-time margin calculation for multi-chain portfolios solving the issue of on-chain prime-brokerage lending.

Role overview:

Arkis is growing its Platform team and is looking for an exceptional engineer to join them. Working with their engineering and product delivery teams, the role has both internal and external facing elements. The ideal candidate will engage with their professional services team to accelerate their engineering outputs, automate and provision infrastructure and deploy their products onto cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of elastic, high-reliable and scalable Arkis’s DevOps Architecture and Automation program.
• Design robust security process to protect centralised and decentralised infrastructures, including vulnerability scanning, secrets and encryption keys management, image signing, 3rd party dependency protection and others
• Design multi-regional deployment configuration with sharding of traffic and its appropriate load balancing
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to deliver Arkis’s DevOps backlog.
• Define and deliver CI/CD environments for global development team
• Define and deliver packaging and deployment for cloud hosted customers.
• Automation of infrastructure provisioning including Development, UAT, Production Environments, VPN, Whitelisting, Patch Deployments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience on the Platform Developer or DevSecOps position
• Experience in AWS and Cloud Native tooling and frameworks, including Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker/Docker-Compose, HELM-charts, Vault, Traefik and AgroCD
• Experience with message broker (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
• Experience with supply chain security, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, storing them with Prometheus or Grafana
• Experience with Gitlab
• Ability to take ownership and make decisions
• To be communicative, proactive, and initiative

Would be a plus:

• Experience with EVM Blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, others)
• C++ and/or Golang languages
• Experience with real-time data analytics
