Role: MERN Stack Developer

Seniority: Strong Middle

Location: Remote (UK time zone)

We are seeking a mid-level MERN Stack Developer with a slight preference towards frontend development. The ideal candidate will be someone who is ready to handle a variety of tasks, willing to take guidance under a senior engineer. While technical prowess is essential, we place a high value on interpersonal skills. We are looking for a developer who is proactive, not afraid to make mistakes, take ownership, learn quickly, and communicate effectively with the team.

Skills requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in the development
• Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js
• Strong understanding of frontend and backend web development
• Experience with AWS infrastructure
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and the Git Flow methodology
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Jira for project management
• Proficiency in using Tailwind CSS for styling
• Being passionate about digital marketing
• Ability to see the full picture of the products (both backend and frontend)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

• Experience working in consumer facing digital products
• Experience working with products with the analytics

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications (consumer faced digital products) using the MERN stack (60% FE and 40% BE development)
• Create integrations with API
• Collaborate with a senior engineer and the development team to design and implement new features
• Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Own the features end to end
