Backend Engineer (Golang/Java)

Tilting Point is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our engineering team in Kyiv. It’s an opportunity to build a set of mission-critical solutions for Tilting Point’s MarTech offering using a fresh stack of modern technologies. As part of the team, you will work on building and operating secure, reliable, and maintainable services in an event-driven architecture. You will collaborate with various internal teams and data engineers to create products that power live operations of the company and its Data Platform serving billions of requests per day.

Tilting Point publishes, manages, and runs live services for F2P games. Examples of such titles are SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off, Star Trek Timelines, Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest, and Zombieland: AFK Survival.

• Work with data analysts, game producers, and customer service to help define technology needs for the logging, processing, storage, and presentation of data in a manner that delivers business value

Your XP & Skills🧑‍💻

• Bachelor+ in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years in software engineering
• Good knowledge of Golang or Java and willingness to use both
• Understanding how to deliver a well-designed, high-quality code in a predictable manner
• Experience with cloud solutions: AWS or GCP
• Advanced English

Nice to Haves👍

• Experience in Scala or Python
• Experience in building high load systems
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, protobuf
