— 5+ of hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and transformation of large scale data sources using SQL, Redshift, or other Big Data technologies.
— Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language such as Python
— Experience with at least 1 Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
— Proficiency with analytical SQL and knowledge of how to optimize, troubleshoot, and refactor existing queries
— Proficient in Excel to be able to interpret logic, flows coded in workbooks
— Working knowledge of ETL job orchestration tools like Airflow
— Curious to identify and resolve data quality issues in Reporting or new products built by Fintech team
— Experience with AWS Data technologies (such as Redshift, S3, Glue)
— Knowledge of ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP or Oracle would be plus

— Experience working with the Finance team as an analytics engineer
— Experience with Spark or other Big Data technologies.
— Experience working in an e-commerce industry

— Take part in establishing and defining testing strategy for Data that powers Financial reporting
— Design and develop repeatable Data QA/Test frameworks or function for early detection of data issues that might occur in future
— Design and implement test cases for different ETL jobs that produce fact tables or reports
— Build unified notification system for monitoring data gaps across various domains such as Revenue, Inventory, Loyalty etc
— Translate business questions and concerns into specific quantitative questions that can be answered with available data using sound methodologies. In cases where questions cannot be answered with available data, work with engineers to produce the required data.
— Automate, optimize, and maintain ETL flows in a repeatable, scalable manner
— Handle and respond to ad-hoc data support/analytical requests
— Ability to troubleshoot data quality issues, reconcile data from different systems using repeatable frameworks
— Explore/analyze data and work with FP&A team for any new data models that affect P&L of the business

You would join a new vertical named “Fintech” who are responsible for Finance data marts, Data quality and governance for Revenue, Inventory and many more systems.
