4+ of hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and transformation of large scale data sources using SQL, Redshift, or other Big Data technologies.
2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
Able to communicate effectively with Business and Engineering teams
Proficiency with analytical SQL and knowledge of how to optimize, troubleshoot, and refactor existing queries
Experience with AWS Data technologies (such as Redshift, S3, Glue)
Familiarity with Python or any other scripting language
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP or Oracle would be advantageous
Well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks or projects

Experience working with the Finance team as an analytics engineer
Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or other Big Data technologies.
Experience working in an e-commerce industry

Designing, implementing and maintaining data warehouse/ business intelligence solutions related to Finance and Accounting
Translate business questions and concerns into specific quantitative questions that can be answered with available data using sound methodologies. In cases where questions cannot be answered with available data, work with engineers to produce the required data.
Automate, optimize, and maintain ETL flows in a repeatable, scalable manner
Handle and respond to ad-hoc data support/analytical requests
Ability to troubleshoot data quality issues, reconcile data from different systems using repeatable frameworks
Explore/analyze data and work with FP&A team for any new data models that affect P&L of the business

At thredUP, we’re working to revolutionize the clothing industry and we’re looking for an experienced Business Intelligence analyst to work closely with the Finance Technology team utilizing the common tooling built by the data engineering team. You would join a new vertical named “Enterprise Apps and Data integration” who are responsible for Finance data marts, Data governance for Revenue, and Inventory data. You would help integrate our internal transactional data with ERP systems using iPaas platforms.

You will work in a highly collaborative environment of engineers, data analysts, finance experts, and business leaders to deliver data solutions that alter how the secondhand clothing industry is perceived.
