Thor’s Haven builds ultra-mobile, modular infrastructure trailers for frontline military operations and crisis response: medical stabilisation points, command centres for UAV operators, drone- management posts, and rapid-evacuation trailers. Every product is designed from real battlefield feedback and deployed with Ukrainian brigades and frontline medical teams.

Thor’s Haven was founded by volunteers who spent two years in Ukraine: a frontline medic and an aid coordinator who saw firsthand how infrastructure failures cost lives. The company serves approximately 30 units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is scaling into European markets. Production volume is set to grow 5—10x in the coming period. The company operates in cooperation with Munich-based Bifrost Defence, a venture studio focused on defence and security startups.

We’re hiring an Operational Manager to own the day-to-day running of Thor’s Haven’s Lviv operations and lead the team that delivers them. This means managing production, procurement, documentation, and administration while delegating, prioritising, and holding team members accountable for their workload and deadlines. You set the pace, assign the work, follow up, and make sure the team delivers. You will work between the office and production workshop daily, coordinating with the co-founders, the production team, company leadership, suppliers across Ukraine and Europe, and external partners including NGOs and military units.

Tasks

• Manage the team’s workload. Delegate tasks, set deadlines, follow up, and hold people accountable for delivery.
• Track every active build from order intake to handoff. Maintain a live view of production status and timelines.
• Enforce quality standards across production output. Catch issues before they reach the customer.
• Own the procurement pipeline and stock visibility. Resolve supply issues before they block production.
• Build and maintain operational tracking systems. Drive implementation of ERP/CRM tools as the company scales.
• Own documentation and certification timelines. Translate EU buyer and partner requirements into internal tasks and track to completion.
• Deliver structured weekly updates to founders: progress, risks, decisions needed. Maintain a predictable operating rhythm across the team.
• What success looks like

• 90 days: Full visibility on every active order and blocker. A working rhythm of delegation and follow-up across the team.
• 6 months: Production timelines tracked end-to-end. Procurement has a clear owner. The team operates with clear accountability.
• 1 year: Operations support 5—10x current volume. Tracking tools in place. EU certification requirements met on schedule.
