The Fourth Law / TFL / Четвертий Закон is an autonomous robotics company focused on solving massively scalable autonomy for defensive FPV drones. The company has offices in the US, EU and Ukraine and is on a mission to increase the defensive capabilities of the Free World. Its name is a reference to Isaac Asimov’s three laws of robotics and the search for an enigmatic Fourth Law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing of hardware and software components of autonomous robotic systems, including lab and integration testing.
- Participate in building and maintaining quality control processes and elements of a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct inspections, checks, and product validation across different stages of development and production.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and logistics teams to identify, track, and resolve defects.
- Document test results, defects, and quality status clearly and consistently.
- Support defect investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.
- Assist with internal and external quality-related requests and inquiries.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Hands-on QA experience, preferably with hardware, embedded systems, or electronics.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned quality tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a structured, results-oriented mindset.
- Basic understanding of non-conformance handling, defect tracking, and corrective action processes.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in defense or aerospace industries.
- Programming skills (Python, C++) for test automation.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies (Six Sigma, TQM, PDCA cycles).
- Certifications in quality management (ASQ CQE, CSQE, or similar).
