Description of the project:

A major interesting serverless middleware project for integration of Comcast with dozens of partners implemented on AWS platform using cutting-edge technologies. The platform is serving millions of customers and a high traffic volume. Team works in an agile environment with frequent releases (every 1-2 weeks) and a highly automated release and testing process.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in Python
• Working knowledge of AWS, specifically API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch
• Experience with CI/CD systems
• Good understanding of automated testing approaches for cloud-based Restful APIs in AWS environment

Nice to have:

• Experience in system support and maintenance
• Using ElasticSearch/Kibana for logs analysis
• Experience supporting/developing Restful API in AWS environment

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with local and off-shore engineering teams to support your software development efforts
• Participation in technical decision-making process with the team;
• Respond to incidents, including logs analysis, fixes coordination.
• Maintain relevant technical documentation
• Assist in the ongoing system support and maintenance
• Perform code and infrastructural changes as appropriate
