About the role
The Mom Project (TMP) is excited to find a motivated DevSecOps Engineer passionate about building a stable and scalable product. As a member of the DevOps team, you’ll be responsible for secure development, implementation, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure (AWS) used by our applications.
What you will be doing
- Provision/maintain infrastructure
- Maintain best security practices and apply them to the platform
- Support development teams
- Setup workflows for GitOps deployments
- Automate and improve the development process
- Test and validate and review functionality of code and scripts
- Identify technical problems and develop potential solutions
What you should have
- 5+ years of experience using AWS cloud-based infrastructure
- A strong foundation in security from a software, systems, and network standpoint
- Experienced the tradeoffs in various solutions to common software platform problems, with specific acumen for performance and security
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Automation skills
- Regularly led and collaborated with cross-functional teams of engineers organized around a particular goal
- Problem-solving and collaborative attitude
- Humility and a desire to take input and learn from anyone on the team
- Scripting experience
