What do we expect:
— Leadership skills
— English: at least upper-intermediate
— Proven track record of successful projects with satisfied clients
— Ability to work with several programming languages: Ruby, PHP, Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin (no we don’t expect that you know all of them, but at least some)
— Work experience with complex infrastructure(Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Google Cloud)
— Expertise with presale and estimation
— Ability to travel to clients(mostly the US and Europe)
Would be a plus:
— Experience with US-based client and understanding of cultural differences
— GCP Solutions Architect or similar AWS certification is a big plus
Responsibilities:
— Manage the team of highly professional developers
— Responsible for hiring new team members and building your own team
— Participate in the company strategy meetings and suggest new markets/services from a tech perspective
— Help in pre-sale process and estimation (we have a BA for general estimates, you will need to research only tech limitations and challenging tasks)
— Meet with clients and suggest on technology in their specific situation
— Ability to explain complex solutions with a simple non-technical language
— Help in organizing knowledge-sharing events
— Participate and contribute in Machine Learning club that we have
— Constantly help your team to grow and help in setting clear career goals
— Collaborate with other heads of departments
— Report directly to CEO
