Performance Engineer (Node.js)

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming in Node.js and event loop;
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code following coding standards;
• Strong experience with unit testing;
• Advanced debugging skills;
• Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, TCP, FTP);
• Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and in-memory key-value databases;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and enhance existing skills.
• Basic Linux server administration experience;
• Knowledge of high-load systems;
• Strong performance optimization skills;
• Self-managed and results-oriented, focused on code performance over perfection;
• Commitment to long-term industry expertise to leverage code for significant impact.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize application performance to enhance ad trading and maximize client profits;
• Regularly review and improve system code;
• Monitor system alerts and promptly resolve critical revenue-impacting issues;
• Debug and resolve backend issues;
• Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Collaborate with the CTO and Client Service team to meet client expectations;
• Continuously learn and apply new strategies to improve client financial results.
