Requirements and Responsibilities
Manages and maintains company’s database(s) and server(s) of medium to high complexity. Optimizes database configuration and access. Resolves database performance and capacity issues. Configure, troubleshoot and maintain systems using Log Shipping and or Replication. Performs database recovery and back-up. May involve in some development work. May require a bachelor’s degree of computer discipline or its equivalent. Reports to a manager or Team Lead. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work, is comfortable working on projects individually and does not require a lot of micro-managing. Typically requires 2 to 5 years of related experience. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Microsoft AZURE and PowerShell a plus. Experience with a service ticketing application a plus. This position will require working occasional weekends as part of an On-Call support team. English — Upper-Intermediate.
