Middle/Senior Svelte developer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a talented Middle/Senior Frontend (Svelte) Developer with 3+ years of programming experience to join a new overseas expansion of the client’s Markets Engineering team, working on the client’s global trading infrastructure and matching engine platform. Markets team members are encouraged to be generalists, so candidates with a broad range of skills and experience will be looked upon very highly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with TypeScript
• Solid experience building single-page applications with Svelte/SvelteKit
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Experience working with WebSockets for real-time data
• Strong understanding of core web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Web APIs)
• Experience writing and maintaining automated frontend tests (Playwright or similar)
• Experience maintaining a CI pipeline for the frontend
• Experience collaborating closely with design teams (prototyping UI components, turning wireframes into functional pages/flows)
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with Rust or C++
• Experience maintaining backend-for-frontend (BFF) services
• Interest/experience in backend, infrastructure, or QA engineering (team encourages generalists)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working on a Svelte single-page-application (SPA) frontend
• Extending the frontend to interface with more parts of the client’s system
• Implementing new business functions in the frontend
• Collaborating with the design team on UI prototypes and turning wireframes into functional pages/flows
• Maintaining backend-for-frontend (BFF) services
• Maintaining the codebase to the highest level of quality
• Writing and maintaining automated frontend tests
• Maintaining a continuous integration (CI) pipeline for the frontend

Customer: Global company based in the US.

Type: Fintech / trading platform

Product: A platform connecting global buyers and sellers of specialized commodities, providing trading, data insights, and market infrastructure used by large enterprises, financial institutions, and government agencies worldwide.

Market: Global — serving corporations, financial institutions, and governments across multiple regions.

Stage: Existing, established platform — the team is expanding internationally (overseas expansion of the Markets Engineering team), not building from scratch.

Technical stack: TypeScript, Svelte/SvelteKit, Tailwind, Playwright, WebSockets.
