WHO WE NEED

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of commercial experience to join our successful and stable project from the UK.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

• 4+ years of experience with automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure for production-grade systems;
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation/CDK;
• Experience developing cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Code Deploy (AWS), and/or GitLab;
• Hands-on experience with Docker and ECS
• Experience with bash, Ansible;
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably js, Python);
• Knowledge and understanding of AWS’s Well-Architected Framework
  

WILL BE A PLUS

• AWS certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer — Professional
• Hands-on experience with Serverless framework or Kubernetes
• Knowledge and understanding of SRE practices
  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploying, automating, and managing AWS cloud-based systems, ensuring the high availability, performance, scalability, and security of systems;
• Analyzing and optimizing existing AWS workloads;
• Creating re-usable Infrastructure-as-Code Cloudformation templates to provision complex, scalable AWS environments;
• Developing CI/CD pipelines for various application stacks
• Being DevOps evangelist and driver of continuous improvements;
• Building trustful relationships with customers and looking beyond requirements to bring value;
• Collaborating to validate technical plans and time estimates, work to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget;

PROJECT TECHNOLOGIES

JavaScript (ES6), Typescript, Node.js (Express), MongoDB, Mongoose, Angular7, Angular material, AWS (API Gateway, CloudFront, EC2, S3), Serverless (AWS Lambda, etc.), Firebase, Redis.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time working day, the full remote is available.
