We are looking for an experienced Product Designer with a passion for complex web app interfaces to join the AppSpector team.
AppSpector (appspector.com) is a debugging service for mobile apps. It is the ultimate tool for every mobile developer to troubleshoot and monitor their apps.
The things you will be working on include a web dashboard with various real-time metrics and the data coming from deep inside the mobile apps.
You may have noticed that most of these developer tools look ugly and hard-to-use.
So we badly need the person who wants to fix it.
This task is tough, as you will work closely with mobile developers and acquire technical knowledge about iOS and Android app internals, which is not usually required for designers.
Perfect data visualization skill is a must have. Previous programming experience is very appreciated, but it’s just good to have and not a mandatory requirement.
The person we are searching for is not the one who aims to add one more colorful bullshit dashboard to Dribbble, but a talented Product Designer striving to solve problems of developers and never stops improving (since there is no perfect design).
It is a really challenging and interesting goal.
Just a few words about the way we work. We use Sketch and Zeplin. You will work with our dev team on a day-to-day basis. Requirements and specs are created in collaboration with Product Owner, dev team and UX team.
We usually hold weekly grooming sessions to discuss and analyze backlog.
You will need to learn some basic concepts from iOS and Android development worlds. It will help you better understand our users needs.
Join our team and build a cool product that will be used by mobile developers all around the globe.
