We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Databricks experience to join an international insurance project focused on building modern data products and machine learning pipelines on Azure.

What you’ll do
- Design and develop data ingestion and processing pipelines using Databricks
- Build deployment pipelines for data products and ML solutions (Databricks Asset Bundles)
- Implement automated testing for data products and ML models using pytest and SQL
- Develop data quality validation and business logic checks
- Support and optimize the production data platform
- Participate in code reviews and engineering governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks
- Excellent knowledge of Python, PySpark (including pandas) and SQL
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building production-grade data pipelines
- Understanding of data quality and testing practices
- Power BI experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
