Experience with Microservices
Experience in creating high performance RESTful Web Services with focus on scalability and
availability
Experience working with relational and NoSql databases
Comfortable working with highly distributed teams
Fluent in written and verbal communication in English
Experience in producing high-quality, maintainable and well-documented code in Java 8
Deep understanding of, and work experience in, Object Oriented Programming with practical ability to adopt common software design patterns
Working knowledge of DI frameworks like Guice, JUnit, JDBI/Hibernate
Ability to deliver robust and high-quality code with unit tests
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Comfortable with being on-call at scheduled times for services you manage
Comfortable with digging into code that you don’t own and figuring out how it works

Experience with the AWS platform
Knowledge of Apache Thrift, Dropwizard, Git, Apache Maven
Experience with Netflix open source software: Hystrix, Eureka etc.
Passion and experience in performance analysis and benchmarking
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
