• 3+ years of experience in a development team that implement technology software projects
• 2+ years of experience in Python with good experience of creating and using RESTful Web APIs
• Proficient in the implementation of front end technologies such as HTML, CSS3, Sass and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS
• A strong understanding of object-oriented programming tools and techniques
• Experience using NoSQL databases and serverless architecture (e.g. AWS Lambda)
• Experience using GitHub for source code version control
• Experience using Continuous Integration and Test-Driven development
• Experience of working using AGILE Project Management methodology, including working on SPRINTs, SCRUM meetings, self-organising and continual improvement culture
• Experience of developing using Microsoft .Net & SQL Server and Mobile App development is beneficial.

• Work with colleagues in the IT Development Team in the UK & US to manage work via a Product Backlog which sets out new desired features in priority order.
• Work with internal colleagues, clients and suppliers on bespoke digital innovation projects.
• Be involved in full-stack development of digital solutions: designing and building databases, using object orientation methodologies and building user interfaces create solutions that provide an excellent user experience and are simple to understand and maintain.
• Be working with RESTful Web API’s to integrate with existing systems and manage data flow between systems.
• work with colleagues and customers as required to ensure that systems are tested sufficiently against functional and technical criteria and ensuring customer/user satisfaction.

You will be working on the following solutions adding new features and sugesting improvements:
• Chatbot who captures user preferences and sends daily emails to people who want to find a new job. It uses several AWS components and interacts with the company internal systems as well as a 3rd party Job Search tool and other WebAPIs such as Google for location matching. The chatbot daily email platform resides on AWS and is coded in Python. Data is stored in a Dynamo DB no SQL database.
• An application that allows internal users to create a Talent Pool and find candidates who meet the criteria for the Talent Pool. Users can send an email to Hiring Managers with a link to the Talent Pool dashboard where candidate profiles who match the Hiring Managers open positions can be viewed.
• A data-based product, using Data Science and algorithms to evaluate a candidate’s likelihood of finding a new job sing 10 years of data history. This is based on the candidate’s activity vs activity from other candidates on a similar program.
