Customer Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our customers through inbound/outbound phone, chat, email, and social media, understanding their needs to provide workable solutions.
  • Replying to emails and messages from customers worldwide in English (knowledge of multiple languages is a plus).
  • Supporting your teammates and colleagues through peer-to-peer learning and constructive feedback to foster a positive working environment.
  • Taking ownership: Seek to understand customer needs and deliver the right solution the first time, every time.
  • Educating customers on how to use our website efficiently and assisting them through the booking process.
  • Acting as a customer advocate by retaining customer loyalty through problem-solving and suggesting process improvements in a safe, trusted environment.
  • Collaborating on performance metrics: Support, educate, coach, and resolve customer issues while working towards common team goals.
  • Sharing feedback with management regarding performance, team morale, and customer insights.
  • Identifying the root cause of any issues and using our processes and policies to resolve them promptly.
  • Most importantly, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Intelligence and strong command of English (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to clients.
  • Social media support experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of communication workflows.
  • Research skills with a focus on owning and solving issues internally, rather than passing them around.
  • Ability to work with complex systems and present them in an understandable way to non-experts, preferably in travel, crypto, or financial services environments.
  • Great organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
