Scala Developer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Scala / Spark Developer for a long-term project to expand the engineering capacity of the team to develop and implement a triaged list of transformation pipelines using the tools and development workflow designed by our Data team.

Required Skills

🔹 2+ years of web development experience using Scala
🔹 Experience with Spark and Databricks
🔹 SQL, experience with at least one RDBMS
🔹 Readiness to communicate in English within a distributed team
🔹 Upper Intermediate level of English (spoken)
🔹 Excellent teamwork skills

Will be an advantage

🔹Ability to work as close as possible to UTC-4 timezone (9-5)
🔹Azure web services, Azure Blob Storage
🔹Databricks Delta Lake Data Warehouse

About Project

We have developed a data pipeline architecture using Scala, Spark, and Databricks to deploy pipelines to load data into Databricks Delta Lake which will be used as a data repository for developing insights for products and business decision making.

We are looking to scale out developer capacity to implement a backlog of data transformation pipelines to meet tight project timelines.

Having the skill to support mechanisms to help with but not limited to script best practices, transformation architecture best practices, and guidance for designing more efficient and repeatable development patterns is a plus.
