We are looking for a Sales Manager with experience in IT sales or Upwork client acquisition who is ready to operate in a high-responsibility, full-cycle sales environment.
This role requires ownership of the entire sales process — from first contact with the client through negotiation, closing, and structured handover to the delivery team, ensuring quality execution and long-term value.
Responsibilities
— Source and acquire new clients on Upwork (and other platforms)
— Manage the full sales cycle: lead → pre-sales → proposal → negotiation → closing → handover to delivery team
— Write and adapt high-conversion proposals for IT projects
— Analyze project opportunities (fit / budget / scope / risk assessment)
— Communicate with clients (chat, calls, email)
— Negotiate and close deals, then hand over projects to the delivery team
— Maintain long-term client relationships (upsell/repeat business)
— Use AI tools to improve efficiency (proposal writing, personalization, follow-ups, reporting, research support)
— Monitor competitors and market trends (rates, demand, niches)
Requirements
— 1+ years of experience in IT Sales (outsourcing)
— Proven experience working on Upwork (mandatory)
— Strong understanding of the full sales funnel (lead → call → negotiation → close)
— Understanding of IT services (Web / Mobile / QA / DevOps / Design)
— Experience writing proposals and communicating with international clients
— Upper-Intermediate or higher English level (B2—C1)
— Ability to evaluate project budgets, scope, and feasibility
— Ability to work independently and manage multiple deals simultaneously
— Comfortable using AI tools in daily sales work
