Mobile Software Engineer (hybrid work in Warsaw) for one of TOP-3 navigational applications

The product we are working on is the biggest community-based navigation app, complex web-services and other solutions related to it. The web and mobile apps handle information at massive scale and extend well beyond the search giving people and companies a lot of new useful options. Here you’ll be a part of a skilled international team, working on an app with >100 mln users!

Responsibilities:

• Migrate existing Android & iOS apps to the primary build system
• Working with one of Top-5 tech companies
• Refactor code, update dependencies, modify aspects of the existing build to allow integration with the new build system, troubleshoot and fix possible issues
• Maintain a green build throughout the migration process ensuring any changes made do not affect the project’s ongoing development or regular release cycle

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with Java/Kotlin and/or Swift/Objective-C
• Experience with large codebases and CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Experience with Gradle and Bazel or Buck
• Familiarity with C++
• Familiarity with Python & Bash
• Adaptability, strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent independent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good spoken and written English level — ideally Upper-Intermediate or higher
