Our customer is an Israeli next-generation content platform for gamers where users can actually play the posts they see. It is based on innovative proprietary technology that enables anyone to clip their most exciting game highlights and turn them into standalone game pieces called “Playables.” These Playables can be shared so that others can instantly play to create their own outcomes and experiences.
We are looking for a talented Unreal/C++ engineer to join our Game SDK plugin team. You will be a part of the SDK team, collaborating with game developers to build a plugin for Unreal that will allow games to seamlessly connect to the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Build an Unreal plugin in C++
- Collaborate with game developers to introduce functionality specific for their game mechanics
- Implement new features taking into account ease of integration, performance, and scalability
- Develop in an agile, fast-paced environment, having a direct impact on the product trajectory
- Mentor, pair, and delegate work to encourage the professional and technical growth of those around you
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Unreal
- Experience building software as part of a team
- Ability to work remotely (as the team is partly remote)
- Good spoken and written English level (ideally Upper-Intermediate or higher)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Data-Oriented Design
- Experience building Unreal plugins
