We’re looking for a strategic Payment Business Developer for our partners (ambitious startup in Health&Fitness domain) to unlock new payment channels, onboard PSPs and banks, and fuel their international growth.

What you will do:
— Drive the process of opening MID (Merchant ID) accounts and corporate bank accounts, including collection and submission of required documentation.
— Lead the full cycle of establishing partnerships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and acquiring banks in multiple jurisdictions (EU, UK, US, etc.).
— Prepare and manage corporate document packages (e.g., incorporation documents, shareholder/UBO structure) for onboarding with PSPs and banks.
— Ensure successful onboarding and compliance approval with key platforms — Stripe and PayPal.
— Maintain full compliance with KYC/KYB, AML, and jurisdiction-specific legal/tax requirements.
— Analyze and monitor acquiring performance metrics, drawing business-relevant conclusions.
— Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, collaborating closely with external consultants, legal advisors, and internal teams.
— Act as a key liaison between the business and financial institutions, maintaining effective, professional communication.
What we’re looking for:

— Proven track record of successfully opening MID accounts and passing compliance procedures with Stripe (essential) and PayPal (preferred).
— Demonstrated hands-on experience with KYC/KYB, AML, and understanding of legal structures in the context of account onboarding.
— Familiarity with card acquiring, including Visa/Mastercard flows.
— Solid understanding of payment risk metrics and how they influence merchant account health and PSP decisions wiil be a huge plus.
— Strong negotiation and networking skills — capable of engaging PSPs, bankers, and consultants effectively.
— Proactive, independent approach to sourcing new partners and solving problems in dynamic, cross-border settings.
— English: Upper-Intermediate+ — capable of managing business negotiations, emails, and documentation with international partners.
Will be a huge plus:
— Direct contacts with Stripe, PayPal, or US/EU-based banks.
