What is the project and why should you care?

We propose to take part in solution development for war damage detection and calculation in Ukraine. The core software already exists and is used for renewable energy assets damage tracking, annotations, and maintenance mission planning. It needs to be customized for new project specifics related to civil infrastructure damage tracking.

You would be an excellent fit for this position if you are:

• .Net experience for 5+ years
• Understanding how to deal with GPS coordinates, polygons, etc
• DevOps and CI/CD understanding
• Excellent self-management and organization skills
• Experience with Neo4j, SW development experience in the AWS ecosystem is a great advantage
• Ukrainian and English language (B2+)

As a plus:

• Experience with geospatial data processing
• Experience with Elastic Search, message brokers, and multi-tenancy

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

• The lead development team on core .NET platforms.
• Collaborate with Agile team members to mitigate any technical impediments.
• Lead innovative approaches to infrastructure, performance optimization & automation.
• Understand technical project priorities, implementation dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Acts as an expert technical resource to others on new technologies, and design techniques.
• Enforces the reduction in duplicate processes, and code.
• Provides senior-level IT technical lead services and direction.
• Identifies potential solutions, including the cost/benefit of each option.
• Communicates with project manager/product owner/architect on a frequent basis.
• Reviews and approves documentation and diagrams created by IT team members.
