ROLE OVERVIEW:
The key principle and direction of Swarmer is to deliver the proper solution and secure the end-2-end user experience that is complete, scalable, and fits the purpose in the best way possible. In the role of Director of Sales you will have a direct impact on that.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales roadmap, building relationships with key stakeholders in the Ministry of Defense (MoD), customers, military units, and other government entities in Ukraine.
🚀 WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement a sales plan for the defense and security sector.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, military units, MoD divisions, and government bodies.
- Identify new opportunities and drive partnerships with vendors and technology providers.
- Manage the entire sales pipeline in a CRM tool.
Customer & Technical Support:
- Conduct on-site and virtual product demonstrations for military personnel.
- Provide first-line customer support and ensure effective product adoption and best end-user experience.
Procurement & Certification Process:
- Navigate and manage defense procurement procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certification requirements.
- Guide customers through documentation and approval processes.
Marketing & Communication:
- Developing marketing materials in military language and MoD terminology.
- Communicate technical product information in a clear and concise manner for defense professionals.

You will need to initiate, drive, and push deals over the finish line.
Experience:
- Sales or business development experience in defense, security, or government procurement.
- Strong understanding of military procurement, certification processes, and documentation workflows.
- Military or MoD background is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate has prior military or MoD experience or has worked in defense sales and procurement with an understanding of documentation and certification requirements.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage military and government stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with CRM systems for pipeline management.
- Ability to prepare and present technical materials in military language.
- Upper Intermediate English or above
